About My Trip ....
Hiii Everyone,
I am sorry for being a lazy girl for not updating my blog and not telling you all about my trip. I had tooo many things going on recently and the blog had to wait. Until now.
All I can say that I had an incredible time over there with Rachel. She is an amazing woman. Isn't it so strange that two people, living that far away from each other could have sooo much in common. I feel like I've known her all my life even though I've just met her a couple of months ago. She and her family showed me great hospitality in their home which I'll never forget.
I was a guest in her bead making group's bi-monthly gathering. It was their first year anniversary and all her friends welcomed me just like I was one of them. I can't tell you how happy and glad I am that I’ve met them all. We talked about glass, beads, jewellry and everything all day and partied at night. They showed me some great tips about making beads and turning them into jewellery. For example, I made my first torso bead thanks to Liana. The technique she has showed us was just incredible and it was sooo much fun to try it. Well, I am sorry I am not going to show that bead to you. Why? Because it turned out to be a very ugly bead. I can't embarrass her by putting the picture on the net. Only Rachel has a picture of it and hope she won't put it on their forum. Then Rachel showed me how to make off mandrel fish and I took the one she made which a cute little fish and it looks at me all day from my desk at the office.
Her dog Tara became another friend of mine over there. I never spent time with a dog in a house before and I never knew what a great joy it is. She is a gorgeous and very friendly dog and I’ve allready missed her so much.
Hope you'll enjoy the pictures.
Dear Rachel,
Thank you sooooo much for everything. I wish we were living closer so that I could visit you, Tara and your studio everyday. You said this morning that Tara is sick. I am so sorry to hear that. Hope it’s nothing serious and she will get well soon. Please give her a big hug from me and ask where "kedi" is? Maybe that might cheer her up a bit. I can't wait to see you here next Thursday. I am just sooo looking forward to it my friend.
